Insurance Claim Assistance

Insurance companies make the claims process confusing on purpose. We’ve handled hundreds of storm damage claims in Southwest Missouri and know exactly how to document damage, what adjusters look for, and how to get your claim approved. Most homeowners who use us pay only their deductible.

Types of Claims We Handle

Hail Damage Claims

Hail is one of the most common reasons for roof insurance claims in Missouri. Bruised shingles, cracked granules, and dented flashing add up fast. We photograph every impact, measure hail sizes, and create documentation that holds up when adjusters try to downplay the damage.

Wind Damage Claims

High winds rip off shingles, tear flashing, and expose your roof to leaks. We document everything quickly because once water gets in, you’re dealing with interior damage too. Fast, thorough documentation means faster claim approval and faster repairs.

Storm Damage Claims

Severe storms bring multiple types of damage at once — wind, hail, rain, and debris. We document every bit of it. Insurance adjusters often miss secondary damage or attribute everything to normal wear. We make sure your entire loss gets documented and covered.

Tornado Damage Claims

Tornadoes can cause total loss situations requiring complete replacement. These claims are complex and scrutinized heavily by insurance companies. We handle the full process — from emergency tarping to final installation — and know how to document total loss properly.

Tree Damage Claims

Fallen trees and branches can damage and compromise sections of your roof immediately. We assess structural damage, document the impact zone, and coordinate emergency tarping if needed. Tree damage claims are typically straightforward, but proper documentation prevents coverage disputes.

How It Works

  1. Free inspection. We get on the roof, document everything with photos, and give you a written damage report.
  2. We meet your adjuster. We’re there when the adjuster comes. We know what they look for and make sure nothing gets missed.
  3. Claim gets approved. Our documentation is built to hold up through the claims process.
  4. Roof gets replaced. Most homeowners pay only their deductible.

Frequently Asked Questions

Do I call the roofer or the insurance company first?

Call us first. Getting a damage assessment before filing gives you independent documentation and puts you in a stronger position with the adjuster.

What if my claim gets denied?

We can help you appeal with additional documentation and, if needed, refer you to a public adjuster. Don’t accept a denial without pushing back with proper evidence.

Will filing a claim raise my insurance rates?

Storm damage claims generally don’t raise rates the same way at-fault claims do. Talk to your insurance agent about your specific policy — but don’t let fear of a rate increase stop you from filing a legitimate claim.

How long does the process take?

Typically 2–6 weeks from inspection to completed roof, depending on the insurance company’s timeline and material availability.
