Our recommended warranty is the GAF Golden Pledge® — a premium, additional-cost option that pairs 25-year workmanship (labor) coverage with 50-year non-prorated material defect coverage. It’s the strongest protection we can offer, and it transfers if you sell your home.

What warranties come with a new roof from Roov?
Every roof we install includes both a manufacturer warranty (from GAF, CertainTeed, or Owens Corning depending on the materials you choose) and our own workmanship warranty. The specific coverage depends on the product selected — we’ll walk you through all options before you sign anything.
What is the GAF Golden Pledge® warranty?
The Golden Pledge® is the strongest warranty GAF offers. It covers materials for 50 years on a non-prorated basis and workmanship for 25 years. It’s only available through GAF Master Elite® Certified Contractors — which we are.
Do warranties transfer if I sell my home?
Yes. GAF, CertainTeed, and Owens Corning warranties are all transferable to new homeowners. This adds real resale value to a roof we install. We’ll provide the documentation you need when you sell.
What voids a roof warranty?
Common causes include improper installation (not an issue with Roov — we’re certified by every major manufacturer), unapproved modifications, and certain types of storm damage. We’ll explain exactly what your warranty covers before we start any job.
Does storm damage void my warranty?
No. Storm damage is typically handled through your homeowner’s insurance, not the manufacturer warranty. Both coverages can work together — insurance covers the damage event, the manufacturer warranty covers defects in materials.
How do I make a warranty claim?
Call us first. We’ll inspect the issue, document it, and help you file with the manufacturer if needed. Don’t call the manufacturer directly without talking to us — we know the process and can make sure your claim is handled correctly.
